So I set a baseline and then don't run for a week!

Due to travel (India and Dubai) and feeling absolutely knackered so no running.... looking forward to not travelling for a bit just to get some consistency into the plan....

Baseline week

So the starting bar has been set.

So after a personal trainer hammering early in the week - closed off with a 6 and 9 weekend. Was aiming for 13 on Sunday but mist meant no on-road running and the 9x hill repeats meant it felt like I had run farther anyway.
Also it was a good test and sets a more realistic starting point for the training plan.
It was a 26.5 mile week in all so starting to come up to reasonable distance.

Listening to the Bevan James podcasts - which like the IMTalk are well worth the air time :o)
So the coming week with be trend mills for the first 5 days (India and Dubai) and back to the roads for the weekend. Will check the calendar but 13 for Sunday with the Windsor Park copper horse looking a prospect for hill repeats - bring it on!

Ouch...

So joined a gym for winter season.... one hour session with personal trainer... day after OUCH!!!

And looking forward to 13 miles including hill repeats.

slow journey back to the start

Well very tired and slow .... must up the number of runs to get that energy back.

Don't thunk the new shoes are helping - will go for a foot service on Tuesday and see what they recommend.
